"This is just a short chapter to sort of emphasize the difference in persona of my characters and show they really are kids at heart."

-Fun-

We were given an invitation to stay in Zora's Domain that night and however long we wanted. I noticed though that many of the Zoras wouldn't come near us. Ruto said that things were still tense and not everyone fully recovered from the Great War. A lot of the time curious Zoras close to our age group would follow us from afar. We thought it was funny.

When I was swimming with my boys I saw them hiding behind one of the pieces of land we all liked to jump off. I went underwater and stealthily swam around and behind them without them noticing. They saw that I was gone but didn't bother looking behind them. I came up beside but they were so into trying to find me they didn't see I wasn't a Zora.

"What's going on?" I whispered

"They Hylian girl is gone" one of them said

"Go ask where she is"

"Yeah right. They could be dangerous. My dad says they allied with the Gorons in the Great War to get rid of us"

"Actually, the Gorons allied with the Sheikah."

Suddenly the four young Zoras tensed up and slowly turned to see me. Three of them immediately dove in the water and disappeared but the last one scrambled onto the land and tripped hitting the ground hard. Blood started oozing from a gash on his knee and he clutched it in pain. I walked over and he tried to get away.

"Oh stop already. If I wanted to hurt you I wouldn't do it in plain sight of all the guards. Just calm down. I know how to heal this"

I knelt beside him and placed my hand over his cut healing it to the point where only a faint white line remained.

"What's your name?" I asked sitting down next to him as he sat amazed by my behavior. I love getting such weird reactions from people.

He blinked then said, "Cay"

"I'm Saira. How old are you?"

"12. Almost 13"

"That's neat. So, why are you guys hiding? My brother and Dmitri won't hurt you anymore than I will"

"Hylians haven't set foot in Zora's Domain casually in ages. Usually only royal messengers and they are never seen"

"Well, if all you ever do is hide, you'll never learn much. C'mon"

Cay came over with me and met Link and Dmitri. As more time passed in the Domain we got to know Cay and the other younger Zoras pretty well. Cay however was a bit of a joke among them. Even Dmitri could beat him in a race and they have fins. I also discovered that his father was Myer and wanted his son desperately to undergo the tasks for Zoras to be considered of mature age. Usually this happens at 10 but Cay failed miserably the first time bringing shame to his family. I felt sorry for him.

One night Cay said there was going to be a celebration party for one of the other Zoras who passed the tasks. Course we only heard the word party and decided we were going. However when we arrived, I wanted to run the other direction screaming. Cay saw us and ran up.

"Hey guys. Great turnout. Everyone is having a blast"

"Really?"

Everyone was having a blast? How was that even possible? Everybody was standing around talking. The music provided was slow and lacked any beat. All the attendants were, if I'm correct, drinking from tea cups. This was not a party.

Cay smiled brightly and went back to where his friends were all gathered around the new matured Zora and congratulating him.

"We've gone to hell mates" Dmitri said

"No because I think even hell has more fun" Link said

"What say we liven it up?"

"Dmitri, I don't think that's a good idea. Zoras are pretty set in their ways" I protested.

"Saira, people cannot go through life thinking this is a party. Look, King Zora and Princess Ruto are just sitting in their little chairs and King Zora is asleep. Ruto looks close to it."

"What'd you have in mind?" Link asked.

"You pick up the music, and Saira and I will get the party started"

Link went over to the slow playing band and said something to them but Dmitri was dragging me toward an open area. The beat picked up and Dmitri and I started dancing together. Once the band got the beat right, link went over to Ruto and held his hand out. She looked appalled for a minute but then seemed intrigued by mine and Dmitri's dancing.

All other Zoras stopped talking and seemed at a loss of what to do.

"Split up Dmitri, I'll take one half, you take the other."

"Right" he said "Link!"

"What?"

"Get rid of the dainty cups and get us some real drinks. Make a Kokiri brew"

Link nodded and passed Ruto off to none other than Cay. I wasn't sure if Zoras could blush but I think his cheeks got a little blue. Within twenty minutes, Link had all the tea cups in a pile away from the party and everyone was drinking a cider-like brew made in Kokiri forest. There wasn't any alcohol but it always seemed to make people relax and walk away a little happier.

Every Zora was dancing or playing games now and were enjoying every minute of it. The funniest part was seeing the unsteady wobble of a king try and dance with his subjects. Eventually he just sat while people danced around him but he was having a great time anyway. But no matter what there will always be that one person who cannot abide to change. I saw Myer watching the party with contempt especially at his son who was learning dance moves from Dmitri. My attention was taken away when link and Dmitri practically tackled me and Ruto came up.

"How did you manage this?" Ruto asked "I've never seen the Zoras like this before"

"We grew up in a village where you are a child forever so if there's one thing we know how to do and how to do well its have fun" Dmitri said.

Link and Dmitri kissed me on the cheeks then we all jumped into the water splashing half the people. Any other time we probably would have been banished for that but they laughed and we did too.
