I may need to cut back on my stories a little I think. I've started too many, but it gives me a variety to write about. It took me a long while to think of this extremely short chapter. I knew what I wanted to do with it but I couldnt get it write and I'm still not sure if I really like it, but it'll have to do. I'm trying to fix the tense problem i've been getting reviewed about, but i don't really notice it so I'm not really sure if I fixed it. Well, sorry for the long wait and I hope you enjoy. I'll try to have the next chapter up by the end of the week.

-The Black Gem-

"Dmitri, please say I'm dreaming and that this isn't happening?" I said as Nyssa and several purple guards escorted us to the throne room.

"I was hoping you'd tell me that" he squeaked.

"Quiet, both of you" Nyssa said harshly.

That's it. We're done for. There is no possible way out of this. Nyssa looks so mad I'm sure the death penalty is going through her mind. Nyssa shoved the throne room doors open where I saw Link and Nabooru sparring in slow motion as she taught him.

"Nabooru!" Nyssa yelled

"Wait!" she replied "Don't forget to hold your stance because someone can come from the left and knock you down quicker than the blink of an eye"

"Nabooru!"

Nabooru suddenly did an impossible back flip and landed right in front of Nyssa with one scimitar at her neck and the other at her side.

"Release Dmitri and Saira, Nyssa. I have been waiting patiently for them to get the nerve to explore the Fortress"

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah, what?!" Dmitri and I both said at the same time.

"I've been looking for Ganondorf's private room for a long time and I thought out of all the beings in the world, only these two working together would find it."

"Why?" Link asked.

"Together, these two were able to travel throughout Hyrule and not get caught. They were able to befriend almost everyone in Hyrule. They were able to escape from Ganondorf in his very own Fortress. And so much more because they work together."

"So you planned all the locked doors to tempt us?" I asked feeling much more relieved about the situation but still wary about the fury etched on Nyssa's face.

"Yes."

"How come you couldn't find it yourself?" Dmitri asked

"I've been looking for years." Nabooru said.

"So you used my sister and our friend to find Ganondorf's private room? Hmm…my question is why did you want to get in his room in the first place?"

"Nyssa, take your guards and go. We will talk later."

"Nabooru—"

However the scowl shot toward Nyssa was enough to send her out. When it was just Nabooru and us, she threw her scimitars down.

"Okay, I'm confused."

"Where did you learn such good thieving skills?" Nabooru interrupted.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you" Dmitri said.

"I don't understand what's going on?" Link said.

"Tyra!" Nabooru called. A few seconds later a lever Red Gerudo walked in.

"Yes?"

"Follow Nyssa. Make sure you are not seen. If she goes near the room see if she removes anything. If so get it back and bring it to me."

Tyra nodded and left.

"Okay, that's it!" I yelled. "Start talking. What was in that room that you don't want Nyssa getting?"

"Wait until tonight. I will find you. You may go"

"We may go? When did that matter? We've been able to come and go as we please this whole time" Dmitri said

I rolled my eyes and Link and I dragged Dmitri out. He pretended to kick and scream all the way outside and everyone we passed stared strangely. The Purple's who had their faces hidden all had raised eyebrows by the time we passed.

"NO!!! DON'T TAKE ME AWAY!!! PLEASE!!!! I LOVE YOU NABOORU!!! DON'T MAKE ME GO!!!" Dmitri yelled and screamed

We couldn't take it anymore and we dropped him and fell to the ground laughing so hard I'm sure their sides were splitting as much as mine. Eventually we were all lying in the sand catching our breath. I closed my eyes to block out the sun but suddenly Dmitri sat right on my stomach making me gasp and have the breath sort of knocked out of me.

"Hey, Saira, where'd that one Gerudo friend of yours go?"

"Leah? I don't know. I only see her when I get lost."

"Well let's go find her."

"Why?"

"Because I'm bored!" he whined falling on me.

"Go do the horseback archery then if you're bored" I suggested

"But that would require me to ride a horse and we all know that's never good."

"Because you suck at it?" Link said

"Shut up!"

"I'm gonna go get lost"

"You're going to voluntarily get lost?" Link asked

"No, I'm going to go explore the fortress and my sense of direction is horrible and I know I'll get lost."

I left them in the sand and went back inside the fortress. Not but two seconds later Dmitri and Link came up behind me.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"We have nothing better to do so we're going with you" Link said

"Fine. Whatever" I said. As we walked around, Dmitri and I smiled every time we saw an unlocked door. We were proud.

"Whoa, stop you guys and check this out" Dmitri said.

We joined Dmitri by one door down a small hallway. Inside a Gerudo of Purple rank was getting a tattoo around her arm.

"How cool" Dmitri said

"Looks painful" I commented turning away and going down a hall.

"Good, you should never get one" Link said suddenly pulling Dmitri away.

"Why?" I inquired

"Because you for one aren't old enough and you shouldn't get one because its wrong and well you just shouldn't get one because, because, uh"

"What Link is trying to say is that you're his sister and should never get one because of that fact"

"No, that's not it at all!" he argued.

The day went by quickly because all I did was walk around and listen to Dmitri and Link argue about my well being. It was nice to know Link was so protective of me. Once the sun set we ended up on the top of the fortress again joking around together. Nabooru eventually came up and practically ruined the mood with her very presence. Why do the Gerudos have to be so serious because that just isn't fun?

As we sat there with Nabooru towering above us we couldn't think of what to say. She flicked something out of her hand. Dmitri leaned forward and picked up a tiny black jewel he let roll to the middle of his palm.

"There is something wrong with this" Dmitri said too serious for my taste

"What is it?" I asked

"Technically a long time ago, which really is in about 7 years from now, but that's not the point. Ganondorf attempted to create a way to unleash the greatest power in all the worlds, and this was the result of his experimentation."

"A black gem?" Link asked

"Saira, you own a locket you cannot open along with a ring and an amethyst gem, correct?"

"Yes, why?"

"Look at the size of your amethyst"

I pulled out my necklace and dropped the amethyst into Dmitri's hand where they were identical in size, shape and even shined the same way.

"Okay, more explaining needed" I said raising an eyebrow.

"You carry a very important trinket there that is another reason you are so hunted. I have never told the other sages about everything Ganondorf did in secret. He tried to create a replica of that treasure to make the power contained within as evil as his soul."

"Why are you giving this to us?" Link asked

"I'm about to ask a favor of you but you are under no obligation to do it"

"Why do I have the feeling I'm not going to like this?" Dmitri said

"Nyssa has always been a loyal subject to Ganondorf. She still believes he will return again. Thanks to Link it will be a long time before there's a remote chance of that….that is unless she gets a hold of that and the rest of your treasures"

"So what are you asking of us?" I asked

"To take that away from here. As far away from the desert as you can. I believe the Great Deku Tree can protect it or tell you how to destroy it"

"Does Nyssa know you have that?" Link asked

"No, but Nyssa will not touch you as long as I am here. She fears me."

"I don't blame her" Dmitri said casually.

Nabooru sneered.

"Well, will you do it?"

"So all we gotta do is take it back home. Not that hard. What do you say Dmitri? Saira?" Link asked

"Sure. I could see Vienne and Stu again"

"It'll be nice to see the 'rents' again" Dmitri added.

"Do not leave right away. It will attract suspicion. I recommend staying for a while longer so that Nyssa has no reason to think you took it."

"She'll notice it's gone though" Link said

"And if you stay, she will think I have it"

"Okay, but what if she does find out we are the ones with it and you're not around?" I asked curiously.

"Then pray your legs can carry you fast enough."
