OMG DID EVERYONE SEE THE NEW EP?

It's over.

Kate's dead.

I was right, Sasha Alexander was only playing a fantasy of Kate.

Kate's gone, but TATE isn't.

Did you guys see when Ziva was asking Tony why he was picturing Kate naked? O! It was such a TATE moment! I loved it.

As for me continuing writing, I have decided to stay with NCIS. Although I'm disappointed that Kate really is dead, I figure that I might as well keep TATE alive.

This fic is a "collection" of all the TATE moments. Most are from Season 2 but like one or two are from Season 1. I couldn't remember all of them, so I did the ones that stood out in my mind.

A moment of silence, please, for Special Agent Caitlin Todd.

The story doesn't really give away anything from the season premire, but it is inspired by it.

This is my memorial to TATE, for now, it has not chance to survive except in the minds of those who know and love it.

"Did your partner ever tease you?"

The question was an innocent one, but it stabbed Tony's heart to the core. He could feel the cold metal slice through, the tip tearing his flesh. The world around him slowed down. He couldn't hear a thing. In his mind, he flashed back to all the arguments he and Kate ever had, and he cried to himself, willing to give anything to have her back to fight with.

He remembered their "marriage counseling". Ducky had been unwilling to believe that it was for "work related purposes". He remembered the food fights, the head smacks, the evil glares sent his way. He remembered Spring Break 1994, the Sex Machine cracks, Paraguay. He remembered the paternity clinic visit, his remark about Kate's singing in Ducky's bathroom, the Y. petis quarantine. He remembered himself listening intently under his desk as Kate described how he'd be the perfect man to date in another universe. He remembered his disappointment when he realized she was kidding.

Glancing over at Ziva, Tony felt anger as he watched her recline over Kate's desk. In his mind's eye, he could still see Kate's things strewn over the surface. The vase of flowers he sent her was still there. Kate was kicking the newcomer in the khaki pants off her chair. He smiled.

"No. Kate wasn't that kind of person."

Fin
Short…I know. Shortest one I've ever done. But I needed to write something on this special day. The last line isn't what Tony said to Ziva, but I don't remember his exact words.

Review. Tell me you hated it.
