Yami stood next to Yugi as he dueled his friend, Joey.
"I play Alligator Sword in attack mode!" Joey yelled, placing the card onto the duel mat.
"Well, I play the Dark Magician, so that means that you lose," Yugi laughed. Yami chuckled lightly and looked at Yugi.
"That was a good duel, Yugi," he congratulated. "I've never seen anything like it. Joey did his best out there." Yugi laughed again and saw Joey break down like a big baby. Yugi patted his shoulder, and walked off, snickering. He put on his CD player earphones and began listening to Evanescence, "Bring Me to Life." He began to sing along as Yami stared at the boy. Suddenly, for some strange reason, the song in the CD player got louder and louder, filling up the whole school with the lyrics. Yugi took off the headphones, and looked up at Yami, a frightened look in his eyes.
"What's going on, Pharaoh?" he asked over the roar of the music. Yami shrugged, as a bright light flashed, and Yami Bakura appeared from a black mist.
"Nice to see you again, Pharaoh," he whispered.
"Bakura?" Yugi asked, but the Yami chuckled.
"Wrong boy," he said. "I'm the evil spirit that lived inside of Bakura's Millennium Ring."
"I thought I destroyed you using Slifer," Yami said, but Yami Bakura laughed.
"While Bakura was helping Yugi fix the Puzzle in the fire, the Ring sent some of my spirit to the Puzzle, so I survived that attack."
"Why couldn't I sense you?" the Pharaoh asked, but Yugi held him back.
"Don't get involved, Pharaoh," he whispered. Yami Bakura laughed again.
"The reason you couldn't sense me, Pharaoh, was because you weren't in the darkness you were in when you played the Seal of Orichalcos!" he laughed.
"How did you know about that?" Yami protested.
"I was watching you from the Puzzle," Yami Bakura chuckled. "I knew that you were once an evil pharaoh that nearly destroyed Egypt, so I've come back to finish what you started!"
"Well, we won't let you!" Yugi shouted, as Yami Bakura made a portal appear with just a wave of his hand.
"See you in Egypt, Pharaoh!" he shouted and climbed into the portal.
"Ready?" Yugi asked the Pharaoh, who nodded vaguely, and together, they proceeded to Egypt to stop Yami Bakura from destroying it.
