Don't Tell Anyone
Author's Note: This is Stranger…yay? I love the show Code: Lyoko, and since the new season started on Monday, I decided to write a small ficlet for one of my favorite pairings from the show, Ulrich and Yumi. Enjoy! This takes place right after the end of "New Order" It's a One-Shot...
Sunlight streamed through the blanket of trees that danced the grounds of Kadic Academy. A group of children huddled near a (now-vacant) classroom. The blonde-haired youth with glasses, Jeremie, handed the girl with pink hair a wrapped present. "It's for you, Aelita. Now we can keep in touch, since you're going to stay on Earth now." He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck with his palms in a typical Ulrich fashion. Yumi looked from Jeremie to Aelita and back to Jeremie. "C'mon Ulrich, Odd, we've got a BIG PROJECT we have to do, remember?"
She raised her eyebrows at Ulrich, who caught her drift. "Yeah…uh… c'mon Odd. We better get a start on it…" Odd cocked his head sideways in confusion. "I don't remember any-" "You know Odd, THE project"
Finally catching on, the three walked away, leaving a blushing Jeremie and Aelita behind. "Nice Odd…" Ulrich muttered.
"Well it's not my fault. Einstein wouldn't have minded if you had just walked away, as long as Aelita was there with him." He grinned and looked from Yumi to Ulrich. "Well, Kiwi needs to be let out, so I'll see you later…" He walked off towards the dorms humming something that sounded remarkably like "Break Break Break Dance"
Ulrich rubbed his neck with his palm. Yumi blushed slightly and began to stutter. "So...Umm…, we're not going to tell anyone about the Hermitage incident, are we?" She blushed harder, and Ulrich's face tinged the same color. He laughed nervously. "Just like we're not going to tell anyone that we almost kissed on Lyoko, right?"
Yumi grinned slightly. "Why wouldn't we want to tell anyone about that, Ulrich-dear?" His laugh lost it's nervous edge. "We'd better go find Odd. He's probably making a sequel to 'Break Break Break Dance'." She nodded.
Ulrich grabbed Yumi's hand and they walked back to the dorms, blushing like crazy.
And somewhere, from in the bushes, an extremely loud "Humph!" could be heard in about a forty yard radius.
