(Egg base 1:00 AM)
"Commencing mission; free Doll" said a small robot, who had infiltrated the base. It entered a room filled with large tubes with control panels next to them, containing old robots, used by Doctor Eggman, in the past. Some of the few that he passed were Gemerl, Metal Knuckles.and the Tails Doll. When it reached the tube of the Tails Doll, it stopped and turned towards it. "Comrade identified. Now activating." Said the small robot as it pressed the button to free the doll from suspended animation.
The doll started moving. It restarted and looked at the small robot. As the glass of the tube lifted, it floated down towards the robot and beeped. "Freeing of comrade complete. Installing new data" The robot said. A small wire popped out of it's back, and attached to the center of the gem on the doll's head. The doll began to talk.
It said, "Downloading system data. New master name; Metal Sonic. New mission; Report to Metal Sonic for activation of gem's power. Mission confirmed." Both it and the small robot left Egg Base. "Mission confirmed. Mission; use power from gem to destroy Sonic The Hedgehog and all associating persons."

Chapter One: The Ancient Evil
(Frozen Hills, 2:00 AM)
The small robot and the Tails Doll reached their location. An old abandoned temple in the snowy icecaps. They entered the stronghold. Inside, it was much warmer. There was machinery running, making loud sounds and emitting a large amount of black smoke. They soon reached a large room filled with ancient text written on the walls.
Standing near one of the walls was a blue spiky headed robot. This was Metal Sonic. He had been able to bring himself back to the upgraded form which he had used against Sonic about 7 months ago. "Did you bring the doll?" said Metal Sonic darkly without turning his head away from the wall.
"Yes master. Mission achieved." Beeped the robot, it then retreated to another section of the temple, leaving Metal Sonic alone with the Tails Doll. "It has been a long time, my fellow comrade." Said Metal Sonic, turning around to face the doll, "I almost can't remember the last time you worked alongside me. But, back then, we were just slaves of that filthy human, Doctor Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik. But now, we can be free to do what we want. But first. I shall free you of your sad stitched state. Do you see what's written on these walls?" He pointed towards the wall he was standing near.
"It is an ancient text, dating back to the time of the Egyptian people." beeped the Tails Doll.
"Yes. What's more important, is what it speaks about. It seems the Egyptians of the past had a leader. His name was Hellwire . He ruled over his land with an iron, or should I say, steel fist. He was one of the first robots ever created. But, he was soon overpowered by another, another robot who trapped him inside a small gem. That very gem is the one that rests upon your head. Eggman never knew it's true power, he only thought it as a way to power his robots. But I, know what it can do." said Metal Sonic, now talking very deeply, "So now, O great Hellwire, I know free you from your eternal prison! Rise!"
And as he said these last few words, the gem on the head of the Tails Doll began to glow, and crackle red lightning. "Yes," said Metal Sonic, "now it begins."
