Kagome stepped out of the well, a smile on her face. She felt bad about decieving her friends back home, but it was worth it just to be able to visit this place. In her hurry to find Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, and Shippou, she didn't notice the bug she stepped on.

-

It was time to head back to school. Which meant avoiding Houjou and his "cures" and trying to escape from Inuyasha's watchful eye. Noticing an opening, she ran to the well, jumping through without a second thought. A stray piece of thread caught on the inside of the well, but she ignored it.

-

Walking through the door she stopped when she noticed that everything seemed to be rearranged. Brushing it off as Mama reorganizing things, she headed towards her room to take a nap.

-

Her family was acting strangely. Mama was distant, Ji-chan didn't force any wards into her hands and Souta hadn't even said goodbye as she headed towards the well.

-

When she arrived back in Kaede's village she was shocked to see Kikyou surrounded by various village children, smiling and laughing and happy. Kikyou spotted her and welcomed her to the village, asking if she was new to the area while discreetly eyeing her school uniform.

It was all too much for Kagome to take and she promptly fainted.

-

"Get your lazy ass up."

"Inuyasha! Let her sleep for a bit, it won't hurt anything."

"Ah, Kagome-sama is an angelic vision when she sleeps."

"Keep your hands to yourself monk!"

Kagome sat up with a start, startling her companions. Sango had halted her slap, Miroku was hiding behind Inuyasha who was trying to swat him away, and Shippou was watching everything from his perch next to Kirara, laughing away as he munched on a chocolate covered orange.

It was only a dream...her thoughts trailed off as Kikyou came into view causing her to faint again.
