Zell stumbled into the room, blood dripping from his nose. Selphie looked up as he stumbled in and sighed, laughing a little as she stood to go get some towels and ointment. She had to admit, he looked a little funny when he was huffy, but she stopped laughing when she came back into the room with the supplies.

As she began cleaning him up, she shook her head saying, "You never know when to stop, do you?"

He looked up at her, his face softening a little. "He said something about our kid, Sel. It wasn't nice, at all."

"So you punched him?" She raised an eyebrow, knowing exactly what had happened, or she was pretty sure anyway.

He nodded slowly, letting Selphie continue to patch him up, as she always did. When she was finished, she sat back so she could see his eyes, looking at him intently before wrapping her arms around him, or at least as well as she could anyway. "I'm sorry, Sel," he muttered softly, burying his face into her silky hair.

She shook her head, kissing him gently on the forehead. "You didn't hurt Seifer, did you? I don't want Squall to be angry with either of us."

He pulled away from her, a slight smirk on his face. "Nah, he'll be alright. I battered him up pretty good, though." He stood, moving behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist, slowly running his hand across her stomach. She smiled softly, leaning back onto him and closing her eyes. Even if Squall did come to complain, she didn't really care.
