Lemon

Summary: Ed always had a really strange taste in food, and Roy couldn't help but love it.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters mentioned.

There was absolute silence in the room. Not a single thing made a sound. And Roy was content. It was an absolutely perfect day to just be sitting at home reading a novel for once, and not have to worry about any stupid person killing themselves or what paperwork was meant to have been done. Ah, this was the life-

/SLURP/

Roy twitched. OK, maybe not, but he was still going to try. He didn't have any paperwork with him, he didn't have to worry about Full Metal attempting to commit suicide again in the name of duty-

/SUCKLE/

As he was saying, he didn't have to worry about him at all. He was sitting across form him eating a… what was he eating? Roy looked up to examine the sexy blond midget on the sofa opposite him.

Ed's nose was buried in a book, and he was sucking on something yellow and small. Oh well. Whatever it was could just stay that way. Completely Unknown. It was fine really. Besides, he had more important things to think about, like-

/SQUISH SUCKLE SLURP/

Like how Al had finally been sent away to visit his 'darling Winry' and that he had Ed all to himself for the whole weekend. And next month if Al finally admitted his feelings to Winry. Honestly that boy was getting no where in the world. He couldn't even admit to himself when he desired someone.

/SQUEEZE SLURP SUCKLE/

Besides, even if-

/SWALLOW/

I said, besides, it wasn't as if the sound was annoying him at all-

/GULP/

Even if he was starting to-

/SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP/

"EDWARD!"

Ed looked up innocently from behind his massive text book. And that's when the thing appeared. The evil article of torture that Roy had been subjected to for the past 5 minutes.

"What the hell are you doing sucking on a lemon!"

Ed shrugged and grinned, stuffing the lemon back into his mouth.

"Isn't it just a tiny bit sour?"

Popping the lemon back out of his mouth Ed smirked.

"Is Roy scared of something sour?"

Roy frowned and moved over to kneel in front of him.

"And why would I be scared of a type of food?"

Ed shrugged again and looked down at him.

"How would I know? You might have been one of those children who refused to eat anything unless it had sugar in it."

It was Roy's turn to smirk and he moved closer to Ed.

"And how exactly can I prove to you that I wasn't?"

Ed leaned closer, his book tumbling to the floor.

"I dunno. You'll have to think of something I suppose. You are after all a great mastermind."

Roy sighed and fastened his lips onto Ed's, groaning at the taste that met him.

Lemons, Roy decided, weren't really that sour. You just had to know the right way to eat them.
