SUMMARY: Two cops that can't figure each
other out.
Bobby Goren wants to resent being paired with Stabler from SVU on this case, but there's something about the guy that holds his interest.
"Eames would know what I meant," he says, head cocked to the left, as Stabler rolls his eyes.
"Well, it's a pity she ain't here, isn't it?" Stabler replies, fed up with this borderline psychopath masquerading as a policeman. Even with Munch, there was usually some logic to follow.
Bobby misses the sarcasm, and just nods. He's engrossed in the filler in the bottom of the makeshift coffin. Stabler can't hide his grimace as Bobby dabs in his finger and brings it to his lips.
"It's cookie dough," he announces. "With PVA glue mixed in." He holds out his finger to Stabler. "See? Try it," he offers.
"No thanks," Stabler replies, turning away.
And for the first time since starting on this case, there's a little grin on Bobby Goren's face as he pulls Stabler around and brandishes his extended digit.
"Eames would know what I meant," he repeats.
And Stabler gets it.
Bobby has a self satisfied smile. "Took you long enough," he says. "I thought you were meant to be the quick one."
