Chapter One: Kiss
"I'm not safe to be around anymore. Get some more men at my door and get the hell out of here," ordered John.
"Okay, okay." She turned around to leave but turned to face him and took a step forward, her face inches away from his. "We will beat this. I won't let you become a Wraith."
She was about to take a step back so she could leave but he grabbed out and pulled her in. She could feel his breath on her face and shivered. His grip on her arms where harsh but she didn't feel any pain. He closed the gap between them and kissed her passionately. Elizabeth was shocked but gave in and responded to the kiss as she closed her eyes. She moaned when he broke the kiss. By now, she was breathless and her heart beating rapidly. She looked up at the sound of his voice.
"In case I do turn into a Wraith. Now go."
Elizabeth nodded as she turned around and left his room, slightly shaken.
"Double the detail," Elizabeth said to the guard at the door with a shaken voice as she left and John sat down on his bed, back towards the door.
