A/N: Silly thing, my love for interactions of the unusual characters won this time.
Title means: The King of Hearts

He watched her eyebrows knit together and her emerald eyes glaze with confusion. Her perfect white teeth chewed her bottom lip. She just didn't get it.
"Need me to explain it again?" He questioned from his seat across from her, his voice smooth and collected.
She looked at him through chestnut bangs, "Please."
He sighed; they had been through this many times before. He didn't understand why she didn't get it. She was intelligent, she was pretty. She was…flawless. "You want to beat the others by making them fold their cards." He explained.
"Fold?"
"Yes, fold. It's when the other players put down their cards before everyone shows them." He said.
"But why would you do that? Isn't the point of the game to show the cards you have?" She asked.
A faint hint of annoyance flashed through his aqua eyes, "Yes, but if you're acting confident, no matter what cards you have, you can get them to fold and you'll win."
She bit her lip again, "But that's lying."
He raised an eyebrow, "I wouldn't call it lying exactly…"
"But it's not telling the truth."
"Yes."
"Then it's lying."
He gave a humorless snort, "Bluffing." He corrected, she may be perfect but he's persuasive.
"What's the difference?" He really didn't understand; everything she did was perfect. Her looks, intentions, personality. She could do anything she wanted, and yet she didn't understand a simple game. But just as quickly as he misunderstood her, he got the answer. She couldn't lie. She could never let something other than the truth escape those pink lips of hers.
"Why must you insist on this?" He hissed, eyes flashing. She looked at him with wide eyes. His eyes softened…she was fragile. What had he been thinking?
"Hey…" That same smooth voice, "How about we do something else?"
She smiled her sweet smile, "Sure." She said. Understanding was a simple thing. She did it every day, and he respected her for that. He never understood people, he never tried. She understood him. And now, he understood her.
He guessed even those who were perfect had flaws.

A/N: Again, not-so-good. This has been sitting in my files for awhile and I wanted to finish it. Here you are. Hope you enjoyed.
