A/N: So, I rented Farscape season four (whoopee!) and was watching some of the eps this weekend and was once again reminded just HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS FRELLING SHOW! The best was watching the extra they had about the show ending and how sad the cast and crew and all the fans were, but hopeful nonetheless and then having the knowledge that they DID it, they brought Farscape back from certain death and produced something amazing. This is a ode to them that never gave up (Firefly!speak still going strong).

What if Staleek and Grayza had never agreed to peace and everyone you ever held near and dear, as well as the rest of the frelling universe, got sucked into the black hole.
What if Moya hadn't been able to rescue you off of Qu'jaga and you had all went the way of Ka D'Argo, everyone shot to bits or blown apart by the Scarrens.
What if D'Argo had survived?
What if the birth had gone bad or Einstein hadn't agreed, what if Yondalao had not been killed, what if Jool and Arnessk remained, what if the Eidolons had not been able to put them all back together again. What if you and Aeryn had remained at the bottom of the Qu'jaga Sea forever?
What if you hadn't been able to close the wormhole to Earth and the Scarrens had ravaged your planet. What if you had blown with the rest on Katratzi? What if you had never found it all and left Aeryn to be tortured at the hands of those psycho fekkiks. What if she had never been taken in the first place? What if you had never been able to get your stuff together, or what if Scorpy had never shown up and you never had to take the lakka? What if she had never left in the first place?
What if you hadn't been able to destroy the command carrier, would Grayza still have chased you, would Arnessk have happened? What if Talyn and Crais had not sacrificed themselves? What if the other one had stayed alive and Aeryn had stayed with him? What if you had never been split apart?
What if Zhann had stayed alive or Aeryn had stayed dead? What if you learned to control the neoroclone, what if Scorpius hadn't put him there to begin with?
What if you had never met Scorpius and the frelling Aurora Chair?
What if you had never met the Ancients and avoided all the mess that wormholes caused?
What if Rygel had sold you out, what if Crais had caught up, what if any number of the aliens you stumbled across that clumsy first cycle had actually finished you off. What if Aeryn hadn't been irreversibly contaminated? What if Moya had never escaped Peacekeeper control? What if you hadn't hit that prowler? What if you had never been sucked through that wormhole?
What if none of this had ever happened?
What would your life be like then?
Your wife comes to the door, cradling your son in one arm and balancing a box of chakkan oil cartridges in the other and you smile.
Because you wouldn't have it any other way.
