Author's Note: Yeah so this is pointless fluff I know and a song fic to add to that but its how it comes out so don't shoot me... This isn't set anywhere in the series in particular but is definately pre POTW... I hope you enjoy but if you don't let me know.

They burst out of the large building the guards close behind. He took her hand as the sun rose up over the horizon letting out a manic laugh. She smiled, holding her tongue between her teeth. This was what he lived for, the reason he didn't regret not dying with the rest of his kind, the other Time Lords. She kept him going, with her quest for knowledge, for new things to experience. They rounded the corner and ran straight into the waiting TARDIS as the sun cleared into the sky.

But now I'm high; running wild among all the stars above.
Sometimes it's hard to believe you remember me.

He had taken her all over time and space, she had seen the wonders of the human race and even some things he wish he could have shielded her from. But as he looked across the controls at her he couldn't help but grin at the look on her face. "What, am I covered in goo or somethin'?" He just shook his head before starting to round the controls pressing buttons and pulling levers until the familiar whirling began and the room pulsed with the TARDIS's comforting green glow. "When we goin' then?"

He still clearly remembers how it felt taking her hand for the very first time as they ran from one danger and into the next. From that moment he had been hooked, she was like a drug. Her singular heart beat against his skin keeping in time with the twin beats of his own hearts. But deep down he knew that it had been his hearts beating faster to match hers, causing a reaction he hadn't felt in years. Pure ecstasy racing through his veins every time his hand touched hers, so he held his hand out to her before opening the TARDIS door. "Are you coming then?" As she takes his hand he lets his mouth curl into that same manic smile as her tongue appears between her teeth.

He knows that one day it will all end and she will leave him, but for now it will do. Her smile is enough to let him know it will not be any time soon. It never matters how many of the pretty boys she picks up and drags along cause at the end of the day its always them, and of course the TARDIS. All the history they see, the futures they touch just makes her want more and he gives willingly just to have here there that much longer. "So Doctor, where to now?" He just smiles as once again he takes the controls, taking them to the furtherest reaches of time and space, all so he can see her smile.
