Nine Lives

-Prologue-
A girl trembled in fear as she was cornered by two men dressed in black, all except their gloves. Their gloves had blue transmutation circles that had a crystallic touch to the top of it. The little girl's eyes shone with the moonlight's glare. The moon was beautiful, but the way the night was going for this girl, wasn't so beautiful. She shrieked in fear as she heard a snap of fingers and the skin around her ankles and feet went cold. She felt frozen. It was getting colder. The coldness was slowly, with each passing moment, moving upwards, or expanding some would say. She shivered in the cold ice that was now, spreading over her small body. Her eyes had shut tightly and she was now hugging her knees, crying. A sudden clap of hands awoke her from her trance. She was still scared but she had finally opened her eyes once more. All she saw beyond the blurry vision due to the tears, was a golden-haired boy and a bright blue light. From that moment on, she couldn't see a thing. She had blacked out, but she could hear faint voices in the area.
A loud clash to the floor and the two men were on the floor crying like little children who had just came out of their mothers womb. The boy clapped his hands and another blue light fumed from his hands. He brushed his hands together and looked around at a large suit of armor who had just came out of his fighting stance. The boy motioned the large heap of metal to pick the little girl, who looked about the age of 6 or 7, and carry her to their next destination.
"Al," The golden-haired boy spoke clearly enough for the semi-unconscious girl to hear. The girl's hair was of silver in color. And her eyes were of a pale blue color, as well. She had pure white skin and was wearing a long white night gown. "Al, I want you to make sure she gets back to the dorms, 'kay?" The so-called 'Al' nodded, clanking from all the heavy silver glinted armor he wore.
A few hours later, the girl awoke due to a warm, damp cloth hitting her forehead. "Unh...?" She moaned in pain. Her legs were as cold as they were when they were covered in ice. They were bright red in color and she looked like she was burning up with a fever. The blonde locked boy put his left hand on her forehead and quickly lifted it right away, taking his metal hand and covering his left hand with it. He shook his hand, hoping it would cool down. Her head was burning, as if a certain someone the boy knew used his alchemy to catch her head on fire on the inside. "Who...w-who are y-you?" The little girl stammered.
"I'm Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist," Ed introduced himself, then he continued with, "and this..." He motioned to the large suit of armor and spoke with, "...is my younger brother., Alphonse" Edward said, knocking slightly, creating a small clank of metal limb to metal body sound.
"Oh..." Is all she said before she passed out.
Ed and Al panicked and began yelling and running around like maniacs. "Al...AL!" Ed yelled to his little brother. "Get an ice cold, damp cloth!" He ran and suddenly, he slammed straight into Al's armored side.
A/N: So, how was it? Since this is just the Prologue, it's going to be short. So once I get 5 reviews, I will update to chapter one.
To tell the truth, the whole prologue took up one whole page. Ha ha!
