It was a beautiful spring morning. The sun was shining, but somehow the dew was still glistening on the emerald green grass and a maiden's voice was lifted up in glorious song.

"Tra-la-la-la, little birdies – ow, Duzie, why'd you bite me? Tra-la-la-la-la-la. Kittens and other cute – sorry, Duzie – things! Um. La. This is boring, I'm going back to bed."

Vord thanked every deity in the pantheon for the gift of silence as he pulled his pillow over his head and went back to sleep.
