"hey Winry?" a young Edward questioned lightly looking slightly nervous.
"hmm?" she replyed looking over her fingers with curriosity and intriguement.
"if you could wish for one thing in the world, what would it be?"
she blushed lightly her small face looking up into Ed's warm smiling face.
She paused for a thoughtful second then slightly leaned to his direction and kissed his cheek softly, " I would wish that we always stay friends and never be torn apart by anything."
Ed looked triumfant and touched his cheek where her lips had met, "yeah me too." he replied swinging his feet childishly as they sat at rivers edge.
