1Chapter one
Raven's Point of View
I always was trying to be better just for you. I tried to be nicer, happier, even kinder; but I
failed. Trying to be what I wasn't was not easy. Even still I tried...for you.
I was in my room meditating or at lest trying. All I could hear was little whimpers. It was
late and I thought everyone was asleep. I got up and walked out to the hall. I walked to Robin's
room nothing. Then Starfire's room nothing. I when to Cyborg's room nothing. 'It has to be
Beast Boy' I thought. I walked to his room and sure enough little whimpers came form inside.
I knocked three times and waited. The whimpering stopped. "Beast Boy are you okay?" I
ask quietly. The door opened. Beast Boy had grown a lot and now was a few inches taller then
me. But now he looked so little and afraid.
"Beast Boy are you okay?" I asked again. He looked at me and said "I didn't know I was that
loud sorry I woke you Raven." "It' okay you didn't wake me up. I was meditating and I heard
someone. What's wrong Beast Boy, you can tell me." He looked down at his feet then back at
me. "Want to come in?" he asked. "Only if you want me to." He nodded and I came in. He sat on
his bed.
His room looked clean for a surprise. His bed was made and no clothes were on the jade
green floor.
"I feel like I am missing something. Ever since Terra..." I cut him off. "Why even think of her Beast Boy! She used us and mostly YOU!" I was louder then I thought I was and Beast Boy clamped his hand around my mouth. He slowly pulled his hand away. "Sorry." I said. "Its not you don't worry." I looked in his deep emerald eyes. He was different and he was more grown up. For the first time... he looked handsome to me.
Beast Boys Point of View
I was awake all night and thankfully noone heard me crying. Then I heard three knocks on
my door. I stopped crying and heard Raven say "Beast Boy are you okay?" I walked over to the
door and opened it. She stared me up and down. She also looked so scared as if I was dying. "Beast Boy are you okay?" she asked again. I looked at her and said "didn't know I was that loud sorry I woke you Raven." "Its okay you didn't wake me up. I was meditating and I heard you. What's wrong Beast Boy, you can tell me."
I asked if she wanted to come in...she said if it was okay with me. Now why would I ask
if it wasn't okay with me. I sat on my bed. Raven looked in my room and came in. She must have
been surprised it was clean.
I told her how I missed Terra or I at lest I tried to tell her. Raven told me I should for get her and reminded me how she used us...and me. Raven was really loud when she said it and I had
to put my hand over her mouth. "Sorry" she said. "Its not you don't worry." I said.
Then she looked at me; but in a different way. I had grown taller then her and I liked to look down at her. She was pretty. Raven was a mystery and I liked that. "So you were crying over ummm Terra."Raven asked. "Yea I guess. We were so much alike and she was the first one I liked." This is when Raven made me see. "She didn't love you. If she loved you she would not have used you. She has been died for 2 years Beast Boy. You need to get over her." She wasright. I did have my eyes on someone...Raven. Raven is smart, pretty no not pretty beautiful. Maybe I could get over Terra.
