Marlinda's Babble:

Ick. ICK. What is this? It's so short. See, this is what I get for putting this story off for so long. I knew I had the perfect setting a long time ago… But something stopped me- and now it's gone! It was all in my head- I knew I should have written it down. I'll just have to think of a better one. I'm so sorry, for taking an eternity. :sigh:

Right now, I just want some feed back- I'm kinda hoping it'll get me back up from the ground.

Slowly, but surely, I will get to all the stories I've started and finish them.

THE STORY! You want to read the story.

Here it is. Please enjoy! And yes, POV changed from first to third. Let's pretend the first chapter was a prologue in Akito's POV, k?

Past Encounter

Chapter Two: Dead End

By: Enchanted Pink Jade

He turned the door and peeked inside. Sana lay sleeping peacefully on her bed. Maybe if he'd kiss her, she'd wake up… and then what? Everything'll be all right and they could live happily ever after. Tch. Yeah, right. This wasn't fairytale land.

Akito shook his head once to clear it. He didn't run all the way here just to think about crap like that. Slowly, he stepped inside and closed the door behind him, making sure that it was locked. An interruption from Sunglasses guy wasn't needed at the moment.

He then shuffled his feet towards her bed. It felt so awkward standing there and watching her. He'd figured out that he was the stupid idiot in her past who'd called himself a bad boy. What now? What was he supposed to do with this useless peace of information?

He stared and stared at her for who knows how long... until he realized that she was staring right back.

"Uh... I didn't wake you up, did I?"

"No. You seemed like you were millions and millions of miles away." She giggled, expressionless still. "I hope the daydream was worth the trip."

"Sorta." Should he ask about it now? Should he tell her? Maybe she'd remember something else. "Hey, Sana... do you remember when-" Shattered glass and furniture cut in two disturbed the silence. "What the hell's going on?" He listened for awhile longer. "Your mom sounds really angry at someone..."

"Ah... My mom's ex is here again."

"You mean the one she divorced at 20?" She nodded and yawned. "Yeah. I think I'll go back to sleep again. Mom can handle him just fine without me."

Again, she proved to him that she was capable of the impossible. Falling asleep with all that racket going on... He left and closed the door quietly, then walked back to the living room. But before he could step in, he had to duck. A vase went whooshing over his head.

"Ma'am. Please calm down, your wrecking the house- again." Rei. Akito looked and saw that he had taken shelter behind the couch, along with the housekeeper.

"I don't care! This sorry excuse for a human being shows up at our home once again looking for money! You leech! Get out! You're never welcome here anytime so don't come back! " There goes the lamp.

"Can I at least see Sana? How's she doing by the way? Heard she was sick." Mr. Ex-husband noticed the change in the atmosphere and took a step forward, but he kept his hands in front of his face, just incase.

"She is okay, right?" He lowered his arms and looked a bit concerned. So he wasn't a complete dumbass after all.

Kurata-san's shoulders sagged, and as it looked, so did her hope. "For the last time, get out."

Akito was about to reveal what he knew, but then decided against it. He wanted some time to think, but that was the one thing he didn't have at the moment.
