Note: I am still working on Mockingbird I am halfway done with chapter four. This poem just popped into my head and wouldn't get out. Please review and tell me what you think of it.

The rain falls on me and you as we dance upon the cliffs

The water crashing against the rocky crag the drums that fuel our fervor

The moon is covered by blackened clouds

The lightening strikes beside us and we answer its primal call

As we fall to the ground in each others embrace

Our bodies writhing in an ancient dance

A dance forbidden by the world

Emerald meets silver as black meets white

Like lightening meeting the night blackened sky

All is forgotten as two souls unite

The sound of thunder gets louder and louder

The storm reaches a fever pitch

Nothing can stop us now

The rain makes our body slippery helping us to glide together

Our movements start slow like the storm and get faster as we go

Your eyes so beautiful look into mine

As our lips meet and heaven becomes mine

Our primal lust gives way to blissful love

The stars burst in my mind as we come together under the stormy sky

As the storm quiets so do we as we come down from our joy

We quickly pull apart but we both wish to linger

We shall meet again my love when the sky is black as pitch

And lightening comes from the heavens to show the way

We shall dance to the drums of the water hitting the rocks

We shall dance to our own forbidden song
