Give it Back
Disclaimer: I'd certainly like to own Fruits Basket...sadly, I don't. :sigh:
Damn bastard.
You took it! You stole it, you stole it!—you did! You did! You did! You did!
And I want it back! It's mine!
It's mine and you can't have it!
So give it back!
Give me back what you stole! GIVE IT!
Give it back. Please.
Damn bastard. You took it, you know that. Took it out from right under my nose—literally. Stole it when I wasn't looking.
But I was always looking. I couldn't look away.
And you still managed to sneak it past me! How? How did you manage to steal what I've kept close to me for so long?
How? How?
Does it matter, really? Just give it back! I want it back! You can't have it! It's mine! Mine and not yours! So give it back!
You can't have it.
But isn't that the way with sneak-thieves like you? You take things that don't belong to you, and you keep them. I bet you hoard them—all the ones you've stolen, all the pretty girls you've tricked. You hoard them, and gloat over them, and you never remember them after you've moved on to the next victim. I feel for them. I'm one of them.
I'll never get it back, will I?
Damn you, Kureno.
I love you.
Give me back my heart.
Fin
Author's Notes: This is the beginning of a long, long chain of clichéd fics. There are actually two series out that have to do with clichés...you'll see. This fic is related to one of them.
But yeah, it's short, Kureno/Arisa (in case you're stupid and couldn't tell), and was inspired by a Drabble Fairy.
Confused? I shall explain. So, there are muses who inspire fics. They have minions, such as Drabble Fairies and Ficlet Gnomes, who they send out to do their dirty work. The way I see it, muses give ideas for big stories, like one-shots or chapter stories. And a drabble—to me—is something like 100 words or less, and a ficlet is 150 words or less...there's a difference, I swear. A ficlet is sort of like a long drabble. Er...yeah. That's the way I see it.
Read? Review! I would love you forever. And I might make you cookies. I make GOOD cookies.
