Being the last fewest of the clan it was his duty to find what he could and salvage for future generations that is if he even decides to continue the line or if children would be born to those that were left of the clan.

Finishing storing away the cross Kurapika headed toward Gon's Aunt's house. Opening the door he went in Gon's Aunt was gracious enough to let them stay for a while and had made up Gon's room for both Kurapika and Leorio.
She claimed that she would be gone for three days to visit a sick friend on the other side of Whale Island. Therefore both individuals have to fend for themselves when it comes to cooking. Shutting the door he went to Gon's room and open it up to see Leorio hunch over test tubes his eyes narrow in focus. "I'm back."
"Yo!" Leorio wave his left hand in greeting as he carefully set the test tube back into it's holder. "So any luck?"
"Well I found a piece of jewelry but it isn't what I'm looking for that is."
Feeling the blondes disappointment Leorio stood up and walk over to pet the younger of the two on the shoulder, "Don't worry you'll find it."
"Aa—so any luck?"
A smirk appear slightly as the older shook his head, "Not quite yet, but I've manage to gather more plants from this Island. It's amazing what you can find here."
"Yeah I'm sure. I pick up some fruit for us on the way back." Kurapika pull his pouch to empty what he had onto his bed. "It won't hold us and we have to make some food of course but it is a good snack."
