Prologue: The lost prophecy

"Whatever you do, don't smash it!" A hoarsely figure called to a smaller follower, also wearing a black robe, covering every body part except for glowing green evil eyes. The smaller figure looked identical to the taller man - err... figure accept the smaller one was clumsy, slow, and carrying a sparking blue orb, floating an inch above cloak-covered hands. Voices could be heard following them. Guards, possibly, but that was a different story. "Stop! Stop them Edrik!" a fatter one called to a thinner, taller one, less than 10 feet away from the thieves. But, as the guard narrowed down on the target, suddenly something mysterious, something like an invisible brick, caused the short cloaked man to trip, fall, and smash the orb. When the orb fell, a voice could be heard all around. A mysterious, female voice. "You have awakened the curse! One thousand years from know, people will be cursed with a portal so to complete the prophecy." It called, blowing out a thick light, causing Edrick and the other guard back, cracking their skulls on two large boulders. The two lay motionless and breathless. They were dead. Out of the gleaming light came a cloaked woman, her cloak only showing her glowing blue eyes. The turned red, and she disappeared, leaving the smashed orb gone for good, the two guards dead as a doorknob, and the two figures laying in their cloaks, laying petrified where they stood.
