Chapter 1: Huang Gai's find

Huang Gai decided to arise early for training before another battle with Shu.

It was around 6 in the morning when he was already outside the temple with shadow rod,

practicing on trees at his musou.

A while later, Sun Ce arrived along side Zhou Yu.

"Practicing with your little toys again, Huang Gai!" Sun Ce light heartedly mocking him

"Silence yourself before I do it for you, Sun Ce" Huang Gai went into the defensive suddenly.

"Easy there, dude, he was only joking!" Zhou Yu defended Sun Ce

"I'm training for tomorrow's campaign, I have no time for jokes" Huang Gai stated to them both

After slicing the fifth tree in half, he stopped and sat down for a rest.

Sun Ce and Zhou Yu stand and stare at Huang Gai and his sweat shimmering forehead.

"Five trees and you're finished; my father could've chosen a better warrior than you to go with him"

Suddenly, a figure stepped into the light from under the tree in which Huang Gai would've

been targeting next.

"Lying down on the job again, Huang Gai? So much for the "great Wu warrior""

"What would you know about it, Meng Huo?" Huang Gai replied to the former shadow

Meng Huo stepped into all three of their visions, making himself noticed

"Easy there, guys, no need to get drastic measures sorted out!"

"Then what have you come for?" Zhou Yu said, ready for battle just in case of ambushes.

"I want you guys to win tomorrow against the Shu Empire, so I brought gifts for you all"

Meng Huo steps aside while around 50 giant iron cages rolled in front of Huang Gai, Sun Ce

and Zhou Yu's sight.

"What are they!" Zhou Yu asked, whilst lowering his sword

"These are your new weapons for tomorrow" Meng Huo looked very proud of himself

"Rhinoceros?" Huang Gai looked the cage dead ahead, wondering why the Rhino's were being brought by Meng Huo

Sun Jian was watching the rhino's being brought in from the side of the garden, Huang Gai walks up to him.

"My lord, I sense a trap within Meng Huo's offerings" Huang Gai noted Sun Jian about his worries

"Nonsense, Huang Gai, you do remember when Shu took out the nanman forces whilst humiliating them, don't you?"

"Well, yes, but…."

"Enough! Meng Huo wishes to help us out, not to destroy us" Sun Jian interrupted and ended their conversation.
