Chapter 1-Bad Training Session

"You can do it, Kiara." Her father, Obi-Wan said supportively to her. He was watching, as she performed a light saber exercise. "Let the force flow through you."

She nodded, as she tried again. After a few minutes, the silver sphere managed to zap her in the butt again and she sighed frustratingly. She deactivated her saber and sat down with a sad expression in her eyes.

He came over to her and he sat down next to her. "You'll get it, Ki. I know you will." He said, looping an arm around her.

"You must think I'm letting you down by not getting this exercise." She said, gloomily. She looked up at him and saw him shake his head.

"Not at all, Honey." He said, and he hugged her. "I think that's enough for awhile. You go rest. It's your brother's turn."

She smiled sadly, as she stood up and went inside their little hut. She didn't even notice Kieran pass by her, as he headed outside for his training session. Unlike Kiara, he disliked his training. This was mostly because he would rather be hanging out with his friends. "Mess up again, Kiara?" He teased, as she went inside.

She shot her father a hurt look in response. She went inside and to her room. She laid down and stared up at the ceiling of her bedroom.

"Kieran, that wasn't necessary for you to tease your sister like that. She's really upset." Obi-Wan said, with a sigh.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I didn't mean anything by it." Kieran said, and he bowed his head in shame. "Would it be okay if I went to apologize to her?"

He nodded, and Kieran went inside to Kiara's bedroom. He could hear soft crying coming from inside. Knocking, he said, "Ki, are you okay? I'm sorry for teasing you before."

She didn't answer him, so he went inside her room. He found her still lying on her bed. She was facing toward the wall. Her back was facing him. "Come to make fun of my training blunders even more?" She asked, sarcastically. She didn't bother to turn around. Sighing, she said, "Just leave me alone, Kieran."

He sighed and walked out of the room. He rejoined Obi-Wan outside and he worked on his Jedi training.

Obi-Wan was getting worried about his daughter. This wasn't like her to be so upset over one bad training session. He had the feeling it was something else that she was really upset about. Something else entirely...
