"BERRY" squeaked Berry. She looked angry and happy at the same time. "So, Mac's got a girlfriend."
"How do you know?" said Bloo, plucking up his courage.
Berry pursed her lips.
Bloo persisted. "C'mon!"
Berry whispered, "Creaky Pete"
Creaky Pete was in the hallway, creaking. "Why, Howdy" he said.
"Listen, Creaky Pete" hissed Bloo, "Who told you about Gloria?"
Creaky Pete burst out laughing, "I didn't" and then said in a robot voice. "She did". This spooked Bloo immensely, who was "she".
At dinner everyone stared at Berry, mouthing "giant rubber ball" Berry laughed too. She said she was sorry that she called everyone, "Stupid." That night Bloo rang Mac. But Mac didn't answer...
