"Take her." A young Ishvarlan woman held a bundle out to a soldier, tears flowing down her tanned cheeks.
"Helena..." The soldier began.
"No! Take her! If something happens to me, what will she have? Who will she have? She'll die! For the love of Ishvara, please take her with you!" The woman sobbed.
The soldier hesitated, sighed, and nodded his head, takeing the small bundle carefully into his arms.
"Very well Just do one thing for me." He said.
"What?" She asked quietly.
"Don't die." He said with a small smile. She smiled back.
"I'll try." She replied.
The soldier kissed the womans cheek and ran back towards his camp. Once safely back in his tent, he moved some of he cloth of the bundle to reveal a baby girl. She opened her big, amber-colored eyes and smiled up at him. The soldier smiled gently at this girl and lightly stroked te small tuft of blonde hair that formed a perfect halo above her forehead.
"I will always be here for you...Riza." He whispered to the child.
