Kakashi speaks with immense woe,
Pulling at Iruka's trousers willing him not to go.
"No please don't leave me, all on my own.
Don't leave me here in the dirt in pain to groan.
I can't bear to be far from you, let alone apart.
Please Iruka please, 'cause you're deep in my heart.
Don't let me toss and turn in my bed at night.
Thinking of you disappearing, like a fading light.
Please Iruka I need you…you are my life.
If you leave me now I'll cut my own throat with a knife."
Iruka looks down and contemplates,
Leaving Kakashi isn't what he wants, but hates.
"K-Kakashi, I love you too.
But sometimes life doesn't work out the way you want it to do.
I can't keep this relationship between you and me.
Forget all those nights, go and be free.
I'm not worth all your sorrow and love and care.
If you truly wish to be happy, I must not be there."
Kakashi whimpers, hugs the chuunin's legs tight.
He knows Iruka is absolutely right.
"Please Iruka Please!
I'm down on my knees!
I need you…I want you.
Don't deny that you don't want it too.
Please Iruka, don't leave me alone in this world.
I'll go crazy, all hell will be unfurled!"
Iruka bends down, face level to the other.
He pulls down that mask and stares at his lover.
"Kakashi…I can't it has been denied.
People of Konoha have voted and yaoi has died.
It's now illegal for two men to love.
For if we did, we'd be killed and looked down on from above.
It's for our own good to be forever apart.
Go find some pretty girl to write in your heart."
Kakashi wraps the other man tight.
Hugging and crying as if a child losing a fight.
"Iruka, Oh Iruka…my precious Iruka.
I can't bear it oh God…gaaah!"
Kakashi pulls Iruka onto his watery lips.
Iruka reacts licking out taking little sips.
The two ninja are lost in teary happiness.
However it cannot last.
People of Konoha show up and drag the men apart.
Their minds are wiped cleaned with a jutsu along with their hearts.
A few years from now, in this strict Konoha land.
Iruka falls over and Kakashi lends him a hand.
"You okay there?" Kakashi asks, as he pulls him up.
Iruka smiles and nods his eyes cute as a pup.
They stare motionless for a long time.
For though they remember nothing, a feeling is sublime.
"Want to get some ramen?"
Kakashi asks the handsome man.
"I'd love too, let's go."
Iruka replies, though their memories were wiped, their hearts refused with a blunt 'no'.
And so as the moral is supposed to be,
Love is as fate and fate determines destiny.
