Rainbow Bars
Cloud had entered the living room to see Sephiroth staring boredly at the television, which was making the most irritating buzzing noise.. Well, almost the most irritating. "Yo yo Sephiroth whatcha watching home sauce?" Cloud had asked excitedly as Sephiroth winced. To him, Clouds voice was the most irritating noise on the planet. Cloud, seeing as he did not get an answer from the silver haired man, he plopped down on the couch next to him, poking the older man in the temple. The Mako green eyes blinked. "... Rainbow bars..." "Rainbow bars?" "Rainbow bars.." "...oh..." The blond nodded, staring at Sephiroth questionably. But since he had nothing better to do, he decided to watch as well. So, slumping down into a mimicing position of the other man, he stared forward boredly at the rainbow bars on the T.V.
Soon after, a loud commotion was heard. "Yuffie!" Nanaki growled angerly. "Give that back this instant! It's a memento from my grandfather!" "Haha! Gotta catch me first pup!" This set Nanaki off. Nobody, but NOBODY, called him a pup. "That's IT!" He barked visicously. "Get back here you wannabe ninja!" And they were off! Dashing from one side of the T.V room to another. Jumping on and off furniture. It was like a madhouse of two. However, dispite the chaos going on around them, Cloud and Sephiroth didn't break their glance from the hipnotic t.v. It wasn't until a few minutrs later that Nanaki and Yuffie had actually noticed the two zoned out men. "Hey guys" Yuffie chimed cheerfully, but getting no response. Both her and Nanaki sat down infront of the couch and stared at the buzzing spectrum on the screen. "So" Nanaki started. "what exactly are we watching?" "Rainbow bars" Both men stated boredly in unison. "Oh..." Like Cloud had done before, Nanaki and Yuffie joined in, staring boredly at the T.V
Vincent was the next to join. Sitting down next to Cloud, arms crossed, he stared at the electronic box. He opened his mouth to speak, but before the man could even mutter out a syllable, Yuffie, Nanaki, Cloud and Sephiroth all said in perfect, bored unison "Rainbow bars." "...I see.."
One by one, the rest of the group joined in staring at the rainbow bars. Tifa was the only one left. But since she didn't want thm to think she was a loser, she sat down with them without question.
Several minutes had past while the group was staring at the buzzing rainbow bars. Then.. click "And the kitten.. never got its pie. Our next story..." The channel had come back to life, ridding the screen of the those buzzing, coloured bars. "Oooooooohh" It was as if a lightbulb had lit in their heads. "I get it."
