The beach

Disclaimer: My name is not Jhonen Vasquez; therefore I don't own IZ or any character.

Note: This fic inspired by one beautiful song, and wrote from Dib POV.

You suggest we will go to the beach.

It was weird, because it was cold and cloudy, looks like it was going to rain, but you said it won't, and I trusted you. We took dad's car and drove to the beach.

The beach was empty; all ours. You smiled this little cool smile of yours… I miss that smile.

A cold breeze blew from the ocean, you didn't seem to care. You took your boots off and dipped your feet in the cold water, I did it too.

"I like the beach in when it's cold" you said quietly. "He so… silent"

I nodded. You lie back on the soft sand. The sand got into your hair and stuck to your cloths. After a while you got up and grab a stick, and then you wrote on the sand: "GAZ .M."

"The high tide will wash it" I warned.

"I don't care" you replied. You looked awfully quiet and distant in that day, more them ever.

I took the stick from you and wrote underneath your name "Dib .M.".

Then we both lied on the sand. I felt warmth and comfort, I didn't care the sand covered me. I felt connected to you than ever before.

When we went home I noticed you were right, it didn't rain.

And the time stopped for 10 long years…

One day after work I decided to come back to that beach. It was wired, because it was cold and cloudy, looks like it's going to rain. But I had a feeling it won't, and I trusted her. I took my own car and drove.

The beach was empty, all mine.

A cold breeze blew from the ocean, but I didn't care. I took my boots off and dipped my feet in the cold water.

A girl, with a short violet hair and squinted amber eyes did the same.

I grabbed a stick and wrote on the sand "Dib .M."

"The high tide will wash it" said the little girl in a very familiar voice.

"I don't care, do you?"

"You know I don't" she replied quietly. She got up on her legs and start walking into the ocean.

"Where are you going?" I asked, se didn't answer.

She walked away, farther and farther, I waited to her. But after a while, I realized she won't come back.

She never came back.

Tell me what you thought.
