Summary: What Athrun want for his Birthday present?

A blue haired coordinator sat on the chair at the restaurant, waiting impatiently for someone. His expression changed to delight when he saw a golden haired girl came toward him.

"Sorry Athrun, I am late, I have the meeting this afternoon." Cagalli apologized to him.

"That is okay, it isn't the first time you make me wait."

She frowned by his answer, "Hey, I already said sorry right?"

He chuckled, "Don't be angry, I was joking. Well we better order the food now, I am starving."

After they have finished their dinner, they came to the park and sat on the bench.

"Happy Birthday Athrun, hope you like this" she said to him as she gave him a present.

He hugged her and thanked her for the gift. Cagalli could felt the color rising to her cheeks when he hugged her.

He smiled, "Don't you know? You are cute when you are blushing."

"Don't mock me Athrun." She frowned.

"I didn't mock you Cagalli, I am telling you the truth." He emphasized, "Cagalli, there is one more thing I want from you."

"What is it? You don't like my present?" Cagalli puzzled. .

"No, it is not like that. I do like it but I want one more thing from you."

"What is it? Tell me what you want."

He poked a small box from his pocket and gave it to her. Cagalli puzzled and confused by him. She looked to his eyes, tried to find the answer.

"Open it." He ordered.

Cagalli caught her breath when she opened the box. It was a ring inside, simple but yet beautiful, and there was a small writing on it, A&C. Athrun covered her left hand with his, "Cagalli, will you make me the happiest person in the world. Will you marry me and be my wife?"

Cagalli's eyes widened by his sudden proposal."You are silly coordinator, of course I will. Yes Athrun I will marry you," she smiled as the happiness tears rolling down from her eyes.

Athrun slid the ring on her right finger, "Don't you know, what is the best present that I have ever got?"

"No, what is it?" she smiled.

Athrun touched her cheek with his fingers and caressed it gently, "The best present for me is 'you'," and he kissed her.
