Whatchamacallme: I have always thought of Christians as aliens in the World, because our true home is with God in his Kingdom.
People call me weird, and I am.
People ridicule me for being this way.
But what do they expect?
After all,
I am an Alien.
I'm not the only one either.
My best friend is one,
Along with most of my family.
We come in many forms,
And not all of us stick out as much as me.
We don't have green skin or antennae.
We look normal,
Just like everyone else.
You may not know who we are,
Because, sometimes,
We're hard to pick out of a crowd.
But the thing is,
Once you get to know us,
You'll know.
People call me weird, and I am.
I have no qualms about being called wierd, as you might assume from this poem.
If anyone can find the verse in the Bible saying that Christians are aliens in a foriegn world, could you e-mail me with the referance or include it in your review? Thanks.
