Then he comes back. Everything was going right, and then… and then he comes back from Africa. Oh yeah and with Kem. They are there by admit, all happy and cheery. It's quite obnoxious, so I go and grab Jake. I figure I can be as equally obnoxious.

"Hi," I say cheerfully. Of course Jake ran off to do something else.

"Hey," he says, giving me a hug. "I got your letters."

"I got yours," I say smiling. I'm glad we're still friends and that we keep in contact through letters.

"So, how's County treating you?" he asks.

"Great actually. How's Africa?" I ask.

"Great, we love it. Just need a break once in a while, so we decided to take a week off and come visit."

"That's nice," I say. "You should visit more often, we all miss you here."

"Well… I'm glad I'm missed," he says, chuckling.

"Um, I kind of have a lot of work to do, maybe another time," I tell him. He looks disappointed and now I feel kind of bad.

"Okay, well I should get going," he says, and turns around to leave, Kem by his side.

"Hey Carter, we're cool, right?"

He turns around and smiles, "Yeah."
