Titanic:Chapter 1, The Beginning of the Notes
Writer's note: this starts when Rose is sitting on the boat after the Titanic sinks.
…And as Rose sits helplessly, thinking of nothing but Jack, she wonders if she'll ever see him again. Ever caress his face, full of warmth, joy, ambition, and hope.
Days turned to weeks. Weeks turned to months. And the months turned into two long years without Jack. Rose waited everyday for his arrival, but only found that she was getting more and more depressed. Her mother saw it too. Her mother set her up with many men, but she never agreed to them, until she found herself in a relationship with wealthy George Arnold Phillips. Although, she never forgot her first love.
Her maid approaches her one day with mail. Inside she finds… a love note! Tis written:
My Dearest Rose
It has been two long years since the sea took hundreds, and since we made love. I have spent these years looking for you, and even after what seemed like eternity, I still have feelings for you. A part of me has died without having you with me Rose, I pray that we can resume our loving together soon.
Endless Love Always.
Rose's mind was racing- who could this be? Jack? No, he is dead, isn't he?...
