"You know I love you," she held his hand firmly and gave it a small squeeze when he looked to the floor with sore eyes beaming with blurs. "but I must be going. It's my first and only choice."
He was pale and his cheeks were lightly dusted with coffee colored spots. Her hair was full of volume, unmanagable and curly at the ends. It had turned a lovely deep brown color near fall. They sat in his orange painted room which smelled of sweat and sandelwood. The temperature was frigid as winter when the water froze over. The only thing that kept them heated was their hands clashed together.
And after that, she left. Dropping his hand without saying goodbye.
On the wooden floor was the charm bracelet he had gotten her that day.

She met him two summer later. A ring was on her finger, which made her face go white and face freeze. She was in love with another man who she had dangled on her side like a charm bracelet. His face was so original and noticeable.
Victor Krum.
She was engaged to Victor Krum.
Her eyes caught his own. Smiling eyes. While, his eyes rang with anger. And she just continued to hang onto his hand like they did.

He strolled up to her with a small package in his hands and thrust it out to her. She merely stared at it and waited for him to leave.
The gold wrapping paper was torn off slowly, preserving every bit of it. There in the midst of the box was the one thing she truly forgot about.
Her charm bracelet. And the only charm that he had gotten her; a heart.

Dying was painless. But seeing the person dead was something else. As he stared over her coffin, ginger colored hair falling to his face in sorrow he noticed something.
On her right hand was the charm bracelet, wedding ring still on.
"Goodbye." He softly spoke as he grabbed her cold hand and gently released it.
