Endless Despair

Chaos consumes me;
It tears me up within.
Thunder echoes,
Consuming my deepest fears.
Rain keeps pounding,
Leaving a wounded heart.
Darkness is absorbing,
The light thatI have.
I've lost control;
I've lost all hope.
No lending hand,
Will save me now.
No one to count on;
No one to hear my plea.
My greatest weakness,
Is being used on me.
How do I escape?
How can I flee?
Trapped inside these walls,
I've learned to call this place my home.
I've been abandoned;
Left here to die alone.
Slowly I'll rot here,
Never to be heard of again……
