CSI:Miami HCR Diary

Horatio walked into Calleigh's gun lab looking for Calleigh, she had some results on ballistics for him. When he got there she wasn't there. He stood for a moment in the doorway with his hands on his hips, surveying the room. Hs eyes came to rest on the pile of case files on her desk in the centre of the room. He walked over and picked them up finding the results he needed on top. He smiled , the bullets matched the suspect's gun, they had him for murder. A little plain notebook under the case files caught his attention, he picked it up. It didn't look like a notebook Calleigh would use for work. He picked it up and flicked through it, he soon realised it was her diary and was about to put it back when he noticed his name in a more recent entry. He skimmed read what it said and gasped. He had no idea Calleigh felt the same way about him as he did her. He put the diary down back under the case files where he had found it. He heard her heels clicking on the stone floor as she headed back to her gun lab. He stood behind the door as she opened it and walked in, she stopped in front of her desk and her eyes went wide as she realised the case files had been moved. She was just about to check to see if her diary had been moved when she heard the door to her lab click shut behind her. She spun around on her heel and came face to face with Horatio, he stepped closer to her, his eyes locked on hers, she took in a sharp breath as he stepped closer still,
'Horatio, I…', she started, she was about to tell him she had his results but he silenced her with a finger on her lips, he leaned down and whispered in her ear,
'I love you too', she took a moment to register what he had said, then she realised he must have found her diary, she gasped in realisation but before she could reply his lips crashed down on hers in a searing hot, passionate first kiss, she leaned into him and kissed him back with all she had. The man she was in love with loved her back.
