At the end of his sixth year at Hogwarts, just when Harry thought that nothing more would go wrong, afterall the worst was already over. Harry was sitting alone in the common room late at night thinking of the former headmaster and the betrayal of the potions master. Suddenly an owl flew through the wall into the room bringing a rolled up parchment. Harry had never seen an owl which could go through doors before, but he thought that the parchment might be more important so unrolled the parchment and it said:

We have just kidnapped a girl named Cho Chang. I believe that she is of pretty great importance to you, so I would like to make a deal. If you accept the deal, just write 'yes' on the back of this parchment, and give it to the owl, if not don't do anything. If you don't do anything, I'm afraid the girl would have to suffer the same spell that killed your mudblood mother, your father and Albus Dumbledore.

Lord Voldemort.

After reading the parchment he threw it on the ground with anger. Although Harry was actually dating Ginny instead of Cho Chang now, he still had feelings for Cho, and they kidnapped her because of her relationship with him. He clutched his fist and thought, "You cheap son of a bitch Voldemort, I'll kill you with my bear hands." Before he could kill Voldemort with his bear hands Harry had to make a decision of whether he would make a deal or not with Lord Voldemort. If he chose to make the deal, he might be putting his relationship with Ginny at stake, and the worst that may happen would be breaking up with her, because Ginny may get jealous in think that he still has feelings for Cho. If he didn't make the deal with Lord Voldemort, Cho would be dead and he couldn't bear to see another person dying for him. He felt selfish thinking about this, he was risking another person's life just because he didn't want to risk a relationship. He knew that he must make the deal with Lord Voldemort, but first he must tell Ginny before he was really going to do anything. He didn't want to wake Ginny up, so he decided to tell her the next morning.

After several minutes, he thought, "I have to reply now, if I reply too late, she might be dead." He found a quill in the common room, picked up the parchment from the floor and wrote, "Yes" on the back of the letter. He rolled it up and put it on the owl's claws, and patted him. As the owl flew through the wall again, he started to think whether he had made a good choice.
