I can't believe I'm sitting on this plane right now. I can't believe it. It just can't be possible. There is just no way that I, a regular girl from North Carolina, am on this plane right now that is going to bring me to Toronto, Canada. I haven't been able to think about it, partly because if I think about it too hard, I get so excited that my hands shake and I have to try very hard to not scream. You should have heard me when I got the news that I had won the contest. You'd think I'd won the lottery times a million. I was probably the most excited about winning the contest though. "Who cares?" said my sister Ashley. "It's just a contest for a stupid television show." But it's so much more than that. It's THE show. My Show. And I won the contest.

Degrassi: the Next Generation is my favorite show. I watch it all the time. I'm practically obsessed. I related everything in my life to Degrassi. It's actually pretty sad if you think about it. Oh well. I love it. I love the characters and the story lines; the drama that relates to high school life, but then doesn't really. Well, not at my school at least. My school is small private school in Cary, North Carolina. We don't have any really good drama. The best drama we ever got was the time when the school got all mad because this one girl wrote something mean about this other girl on her blog and the school freaked out. Yeah, really really lame. And since I go to such a small school any boy and girl drama is a huge deal. We freak out about everything. So lame.

Because I'm such a Degrassi fan, I almost fainted when I heard about the contest. The winner gets two tickets to Toronto to visit the set, meet the actors, and get a walk on role in an episode. I entered every day. I would have entered more often but the rules wouldn't let me. Then the contest was over and I waited and waited. I was so nervous. What if they chose some other kid who had only entered like one time and didn't even want it? They probably would have just sold the tickets on E-Bay or something. One day I got the e-mail. Saying that I had won. My parents got it too. I couldn't believe it. My dream had come true. I never win anything. In the library at school we always have this guessing jar where you guess how many items are in the jar. It's pretty easy, but I still always lose. I always have the wrong number or something.

So now I'm sitting on the plane going to Toronto. I don't rally know what's going to happen. But I can't wait until it does. This is going to be completely enjoyable from start to finish. It's going to be Perfect. Perfect Perfect Perfect.
