Chocolate
Calleigh was in her gun lab test firing guns for the case she was working on. She stopped when she sensed someone behind er and smelt her favourite vanilla chocolates. She spun around coming face to face with Horatio, who was holding the box of Vanilla chocolates.
'Horatio, Hi, what can I help you with?', she asked him trying to maintain professionalism. Horatio smiled, he knew he held a box of her favourite chocolates. He held the box down to her and offered her one. At first she was unsure to take one, she was still at work after all, Horatio smiled and offered her again giving her the ok that it was fine she could take one while at work. She smiled and took a heart shaped one. Horatio smiled, he knew she'd pick that one. He grinned as she unwrapped it and found a small piece of paper folded inside the wrapped chocolate. She looked at it curiously, wondering what the hell it was and why the hell it was in her chocolate. She unfolded the paper and read the small message inside.
'Have dinner with me Cal?', her eyes went wide and she looked at Horatio, he smiled shyly and looked at the floor. She smiled and walked over to him closer. She ached her hand up and cupped his cheek, he looked into her eyes and saw her smiling, he smiled too and she answered,
'yes', which made him smile wider, she smiled wider too, her eyes sparkling as she did. He leant down to her to kiss her cheek softly but she turned her head and captured his lips in hers surprising him. She smiled into the kiss at his surprise as he deepened the kiss. She gave herself to him in that kiss allowing him to see exactly how she felt about him. He kissed her passionately also allowing her to see how he felt about her. They eventually pulled back for air and Horatio whispered in her ear he would pick her up after shift. When they pulled back fully and stood up they saw a shocked Speed, standing with his mouth open staring at them, gob smacked. Calleigh giggled and Horatio chuckled. He kissed Calleigh softly on her lips and left for his office and to wait for the end of shift.
