My second Fight scene, Yay! I might eventually put all the fight scenes into one big story, but for now just enjoy them as they are. Oh, and please review on the scene and which characters you want to have fight next. Thanks!

The atmosphere was thick and heavy, due the extreme elevation, in which they stood upon. Fog limited the combatants sight to what was directly in front of their face. The fact that Red XIII could only see out of one of his eyes, because the other was closed shut with war scars, didn't make the situation any better. Red XIII did have an advantage, however. He had extremely good vision. He could see Yuffie's determined staring eyes, even with the haze in the way.

Red XIII started to pace back and forth along the side of the platform, his good eye fixed on Yuffie. When he saw that it would be impossible to catch her off guard, he stopped his movement, then dashed forward with all his might. Yuffie flinched slightly, causing him to snarl and show off his fangs.

By now, Yuffie was sure that he was charging and she was ready with her defense she had carefully planned. She raised her shuriken and set it on her shoulder, an easy position to get it in the air swiftly. From the fog, Red XIII lunged in an a attempt to bite Yuffie. She grinned, knowing that her defense would work. The shuriken swiftly flew out into the air and Red XIII latched his teeth onto it, instead of his target. Yuffie now charged forward and grabbed the shuriken, Red XIII still clinging onto it. She started to spin her weapon around, slowly at first then gradually speeding up with the help of the wind.

Red XIII bit down even harder and tried to grab on with his paws in a desperate attempt to stay on and not fly off down the mountain. He could feel his headdress start to slip off. Then Yuffie fell down, dropping her shuriken. Red XIII fell to the ground still clutching Yuffie's weapon. The wind had managed to blow off a feather on his headdress, which hit Yuffie, causing her to fall. The wind had also cleared up the fog a little bit.

Red XIII decided to use her own weapon against her. He flung the shuriken at Yuffie. Yuffie flew up into the air. Red XIII completed his combo with a Sled Fang limit break. Yuffie managed to grab the edge of the platform, but she knew it would not last long. It was crumbling, but she could not manage to claw her way back up onto the mountain. A wind had picked up, blowing away the rest of the fog. Red XIII trotted up to Yuffie, his fur billowing in the wind. He stepped on Yuffie's hand, then slowly pushed it off. Yuffie used all her might to stay alive, flipping up onto the platform and grabbing Red XIII's neck with her legs.

Yuffie held on as tightly as she could. As long as Red XIII remained on the platform, so would she. She reached out and grabbed her shuriken and swung it at Red XIII. A crack of thunder echoed down the side of the mountain and a jagged line of green lightning jolted out from the angered clouds above and struck Red XIII. He swung his head, throwing Yuffie onto the platform.

By now, Yuffie had had it with Red XIII and his stubbornness. She took off her bandana. Red XIII saw this as an opportunity to attack. He thrust his body forward. Yuffie took her bandana and tied his front legs together. Red XIII fell to the ground, but grabbed Yuffie's ankle with his jaw right before he rolled off the edge. They both fell.

Red XIII managed to land on a ledge sticking out of the mountain. Yuffie grabbed onto a tree branch sticking out of a crack in the side below where Red XIII landed. Red XIII bit the bandana and struggled to rip it off and free his legs. He succeeded and turned his attention towards Yuffie. With a flick of his head another feather loosened from his headdress and sliced through the branch. Yuffie fell to the cloudy depths below. Red XIII let out an echoing roar, signifying his victory.
