Tell the three of them that the key to every Slytherin is self preservation and pride. As for why, Narcissa was to commit suicide anyway, I just helped her along the path, Lucius had been given the Dementors kiss so I just put what was left of him out of his misery. For me, well I realised how this would end, what Voldemort would want me to do, so I decided to help the dark side and rid them of the last member of the dark sides right hand family.
