Episode Fourteen Review

Twas
the night of the new episodes and all through the net
Avatar fans
were glowing and glued to their TV set
Their face was a smile, at
their screens they did stare
Knowing today, would come some hints
of a pair
The episode's first scenes had been leaked to the
hordes
And had been dissected freely by all of the boards
But
now came the real thing, and eager were we
To return to the canon
and the show we could see
The artwork was amazing, as we know
it well would
In fact, even the Lord would say "Behold, it
is good"
But the plot, oh the plot, it made me go ape
At
this saccharine romance that had taken shape
Meng was a
pleasure, she was funny and cute
Sokka saved the town by building
a chute
But Katara lost her mind, and her fortune relied
That
to a powerful bender, she'd soon be a bride
But the romance
was as subtle as Zuko with rage
So much gooey romance had flooded
the stage
At Katara, Aang kept making goo-goo eyes
While dear
Meng sat and plotted Kat's demise
No one alive could miss the
heavy romantic vibe
Between Aang and the girl of the Water Tribe
But it seemed so forced, so rushed that to Agni I prayed
Please
this is a kid's show, let love be delayed!
So after the show,
there was gladness and gloom
Aang was a few seconds from booking a
motel room
Kataang girls were euphoric and cheers came at
SPAR
Zutara was livid and missed their Firebending star
I
imagine the creators are having a good laugh
At Kataang's joy and
Zutara's cold wrath
"You asked for romance, now pay the
price
For debates on air and water, or fire and ice"
"Enough," do I say, "filler is not my taste
Aang must learn waterbending post-haste
As for a certain
nation, for them I do yearn
Zuko, Iroh, Zhao, Ozai, Ji, please
