The kindness
Of one's heart
Is measured by the acts
That one does
It compared
By an object
Of unsurpassed beauty
And purity
For most
It's a rose
A symbol of love and innocence
For me
It's a sapphire rose
Something that stands out
Something that is tainted
Yet has a rare beauty
That many can't see
Something to some
May not even exist
But it does
There are such things
That are true
There is little kindness
Still left in my heart
But it's up to you
To see it
With your own eyes
