"INUYASHA!" Kagome screamed, running to where two demons had appeared in front of the wounded InuYasha.
The group had come across a few hundred demons, some of which were under some sort of trans. A bird demon (that looked like one from Abi's tribe) had thrown InuYasha, knocking him out. He layed near-unconscious on the ground as the two demons, one with bat wings, and one with tail and dog ears, approached.
InuYasha stared motionless and the last thing he remembered was a female demon with white hair and silver ears, and smelled really good, standing above him, telling him everything was going to be alright, not to worry.
InuYasha let go unpurpousley, and fell unconscious. The bat demon stepped in front of the kneeling female youkai, InuYasha, and the arriving Kagome, so as to take out the remaining enemy forces.
As Kagome reached InuYasha and the youkai, she noticed how familiar the youkai looked.
"Would you please help me get him out of here, we need to start treating him immediately or the poisons might kill him!"
Kagome nodded, "Right."
As they pulled InuYasha to a secluded area, the bat jumped down, pulled out a sword, and with one side swipe, destroyed all of his opponents.
"Che, next ttime, think twice about screwing MY mate!" the bat youkai said, sniffing the air, and followed the scent of the female youkai.
MEANWHILE
The dog youkai removed the top to InuYasha's haori.
"What are you DOING?"
"Cleaning the wound" the woman said, starting to lick InuYasha's bleeding chest and bite wound on his throat.
The bat arrived, scaring Kagome as he landed next to her.
"How'd you find us so quickly?" Kagome asked.
The bat shrugged, "Tracked my mate, (points to dog youkai) and the smell of blood is really hard not to pick out in the middle of a luchious forest."
"Well, thanks for helping us back there. I'm Kagome, and that's InuYasha, lying right there," Kagome introduced herself.
"Ah, beautiful name, Lady Kagome" the bat kissed Kagome's hand, "I'm Shirgo, and this..." (grabs dog youkai's wrist and pulls her over to him) "This is my mate Sesshoumarru Meinu."
InuYasha snaps awake. "Shesshoumaru? Where is he!"
THe dog youkai known as Meinu starts cracking up. "Oh InuYasha, you haven't changed at all! (sniffs him and nuzzles his hair) You're still a pup with a kind heart and big ego..."
Sango, Miroku, Kilala and Shippou appear FINALLY! (Wondering where they've been? R+R and tell me, or I wont go into detail next chapter)
"Uh...Did we miss something?"
