A/N: I changed the ending to this; It really wasn't good enough for me. But I like it now. Enjoy!

Tears rolled silently down her cheeks. Nothing came with these tears; No sobs, no thoughts, no emotions.

Tears fell from her eyes like rain falling from the sky. "I'm not even sure why I'm crying," She thought. "But it's probably because of Him."

She wrapped her blanket around her shivering body tighter as she thought. "Him," She whispered. No one had ever made her feel the way he did; And no one had ever treated her that way.

The way that made her fill with happiness and sadness at the same time. The way that made her think everything would work between them and then He would change his mind.

"That's why I'm sitting here," She thought. "He's why I'm crying." Slowly, she raised her hand and wiped the tears off of her cheeks. She got out of her bed with the intentions of going to the kitchen for a drink, but ended up in the bathroom staring at her reflection.

Her normally lively brown eyes were now dark, with no emotions. The dark circles under her eyes made her look a bit scary and as she pulled her messed up hair into a ponytail, she realized she had been wearing pajamas for at least 2 days. "A shower will be nice. Maybe it'll calm me down."

She slowly turned in a circle while the warm water hit her body. It was helping the achy feeling that she had grown used to, but as for the tears, they kept falling.

After her shower, she sat on a barstool in her kitchen, with the phone in her hand. Dialing His number, she sighed. "Come on. Pick up. Please pick up," She silently begged.

Finally she heard his voice. "Grissom. Is someone there?" She sucked in a breath. "Um, Grissom it's Sara. Can you come over?"

His voice was filled with concern. "Sara, what's wrong?" She didn't feel like talking, but reluctantly she answered.

"Gris, I really need you here. Please."

"Sara, I can't. Not until you tell me what's wrong." His mind was swirling with thoughts. He hadn't seen her at work. Was she hurt?

She sighed angrily. "Just tell him why you need him. Maybe then he won't keep doing this to you."

"Grissom, I need someone to hold me. Please."

This time he sucked in a breath. "Sara, I'll be there in 10."

As she heard a careful knock at the door, her tears started again. He was there. At her apartment. Willing to help her.

She slowly opened the door and saw he was worried. She stifled a sob and as he entered, she collapsed into his arms.

"Shh. It's okay, Sara. I'm here. I'm so sorry."

He gently carried her over to the couch and sat down with her in his arms. "I'm sorry, Grissom. I didn't know who else to call." She whimpered.

He felt like his heart were going to burst out of his chest. "Sara, did I do this?" He asked, regretting each word the moment they slipped out.

She took a quivering breath. "Y…Yes." She buried her head in his chest as sobbed filled the apartment.

He slowly moved his hand up and down her back, trying to calm her down enough to apologize.

"Sara, please calm down for a moment."

She raised her head as he sighed. Now she felt like it had been a mistake asking him over.

But she couldn't say anything; Her tears had started falling again.

He couldn't think of anything else to say, so he let the words tumble from his lips.

"I love you."
