DISCLAIMER: I don't own Slayers, of course. :) Very short - mainly because it was 4AM in the morning, I was ready to get off work, and it just popped into my head! I forgot all the good stuff in the time it took to get to 8AM when I got off work.

Lina merely signed and rolled her eyes, "Amelia, I have lots of justice in my heart. Why do you think I've been steal ... er getting all those bandit's treasure for? And the only way for me to find love is if he were to suddenly drop out of the sky."
It was about that time that Gourry fell out of the sky and landed right before Lina's feet.
Amelia gave a squeal of delight, "Look, Miss Lina! Mr. Gourry must be your true love!"
Lina looked up at the sky, eyes hopeful, "It's not like 200 million gold pieces are going to fall out of the sky."
As it began to rain gold pieces, Lina gave a whoop of delight and dived into a nicely formed pile of gold, her red eyes sparkling with delight.
About that time she rolled over, right on the pack Gourry had left lying out. Being disturbed from her fascinating dream of becoming rich, she gave a rather menacing smile and poor Gourry never knew what hit him.
"FIREBALL!"
It was much later as Zelgadis was healing his injuries that Gourry scratched his head in wonderment, "What did I do?"
