Memories
Tohru finished her speech with tears in her eyes. She was at a special memorial for her mother, Kyoko. It was the 3rd anniversary of her mother's death. It would be on national television. The whole country was watching her every move.
She had been asked to give a speech and sing a song, then watch a video the TV station that was holding the memorial, put together, in memory of her mother.
Now that Tohru had finished her speech, she had to sing. She had chosen a song that she wrote after Kyoko's death that had become a hit single and one of the most popular songs in Japan.
"This" the 18 year old managed to choke out threw her seemingly endless tears "is in memory of my mother"

She paused to look out at the crowd. Then taking a deep breath she continued.
