After getting Kevin under control after he absorbed the Ultimatrix, there were little to no threats on Earth. There were no crimes, alien attacks, no word from Vilgax, and cries from other planets needing help. This left Ben beyond bored and with nothing to do until Paradox decides to humor our hero and send him into an apocalyptic world.
