Caryl, ZA/AU. There were different kinds of losses. Some were more permanent than others.

Caryl and Mandrea, AU. Life began at forty and only got better from there. Carol had a good job, amazing friends, and a happy life. She didn't need love, and she didn't need romance. Besides, she already knew that all men were the same. They would all, eventually, be guilty of the same crimes. That didn't make her jaded; it just made her aware. Could one man prove his innocence?

This is just a short little multichapter reunion fiction I was inspired to write after the Season 11/Part: A Finale so it diverges from the canon material almost immediately from that point in the story. This entire thing flowed out of me over the course of like three days and I wrote it so fast, that I didn't even name the chapters.

The dead were walking and surviving was imperative. Caroline had hit the ground running. She tried to never look back. She was alone for too long. Learning to live and love again wasn't easy. People still mattered. Many would come in and out of her life and not all was as it seemed. She had to learn to be a person again and to find her place. And the one she was meant to be with.

Callie, an orphan, joins up with the ragtag group in the Quarry trying to fight the dead and survive through it all but holds a huge secret. Will she survive or suffer a fate worse than death?

Negan attempts to run away the night of a big winter storm. Carol tried to go after him but is gunned down by a group of strangers. Negan finds her, and Daryl finds both of them. They survive the night but secrets are revealed. Soon enough Negan needs an alibi, will it be Carol?

My take on what might have happened during one of Michonne and Daryl's Governor-hunting road trips. The story starts about three weeks before the "pig-virus" outbreak at the prison. Walker apocalypse, but AU. Dixonne/Darchonne. * I do not own, nor do I profit from, anything related to The Walking Dead or any of its characters.
